A comment I love: I have never understood how anyone can discredit the first hand stories of families who have seen their children have reactions to any type of medication including vaccines? Why are they considered crazy? - Sheri May Yes indeed. What is dismissed as anecdotal evidence are first-hand stories of very real people. Are we going to believe the faceless statistics, but dismiss real stories from real people? Think of it this way: Mary tells her story. It can be a story of vaccine reaction, or a story of the awful treatment she got in the hospital, or a success story of using alternative therapy... So-called skeptics of the world dismiss her story as anecdotal evidence.
