A common complaint we receive from residents are traffic issues in their neighborhood. It ranges from cars speeding through the area, illegal parking and vehicles using other streets to “cut through” the area in order to get where they are going. Herein lies the problem. What is usually a reasonably quiet area can turn busy by people who choose not to use certain streets to get to their destination. If you are one of these people who “cuts through” another area instead of using a main artery, please take into consideration the people that live in those areas. Be respectful of the speed limit, which, unless posted, is 30 m.p.h., come to a complete stop at stop signs and keep the music down to a reasonable level. In other words, if your music is blasting loud, chances are the rest of the neighborhood can hear it too. Something to keep in mind if you have young drivers in your household.
