A common phrase that you hear these days is Sorry for your loss. I never quite liked that phrase although I couldnt figure out why. Today it came to me. When someone dies the loss isnt felt by just family and friends, but the world suffers a loss. Thats what happened today. My cousin Chet Bialas died. and the world suffered a loss. The world always suffers a loss when a good person dies. And Chet was a good person. He was good with his hands, had jokes, and thought of others. so much so that he was more concerned over what was happening to his family in his last days than to himself. So, Im sorry for our loss. Well miss you Chet.
