A common theme amongst my clients, and many of the people in our @makesomerealdough bootcamp- COMPARISON(itis). When we fling ourselves out into this online world, we of course, open ourselves up for not only critics from others, but also ourselves. We are often own worst enemies. The internet can be a brilliant place to connect, showcase and experience, but it can also be filled with false truths and embellishments. I want to let you know, Ive struggled with this in the past. Everyone I know has!! Anyone with a profile or page has! Youre not alone. If youre sitting there thinking that youre not good enough, smart enough, rich enough, thin enough, pretty enough.... You are enough. If youre wishing you had more of what she has, her fame, her following, her wardrobe, her car.... Remember that that person probably wants something more as well. I dont believe that anyone is above those feelings (and if they are, theyve done a shitload of work to get there)... But I do believe that we all have a choice of how to feel. So next time those feelings arise, remember that THERE IS ONLY ONE YOU. Only you can share your unique message. Only you can live your truth. Only you can be YOU. And you are brilliant. Clever. Funny. Smart. Beautiful. Handsome. Abundant. Prosperous. By emulating another, by not being authentic, you block the right things to come to you. So stand in your truth. Be real. Youll allow others to be real and true and vulnerable.
