A community member that lives in the 20100 block of Clark Street in Woodland Hills reported the below copper theft incident: I would like to report an incident that occurred at my residence which occurred on Sept 3, 2014 at 6:40am. My husband and I caught a male and a female stealing copper piping/water valves. These two people were caught on our surveillance cameras. Unfortunately, we were not home to witness it ourselves. The criminals used bolt cutters to remove copper piping which was connected to our main water line. We were left with no water for 24hrs. We just want to report this incident so no one else is a victim of this crime. It costs us $750 to replace whole thing. I understand neighborhoods looking out for each other and we hope to prevent any incident that may occur in the future. It amazes us that this occurred in broad daylight. My husband assumes these criminals are recycling these parts for cash. Please review photos attached . Criminals appear to be in their mid to late 20s.
