A confession from one of our fans, Paige: I LOVED Star Trek: Into Darkness. I thought all of the actors were great, and Benedict Cumberbatch especially. The emotions in Kirks death scene were amazing, and I literally had a lump in my throat. But I thought that the way they brought him back to life was kind of cheap. I mean, its a hard place, Ill give them that. If you leave your main character dead, youre left with no story and angry fans. But if youre going to attempt killing them and resurrecting them, dont come up with a magic cure for death. Because then that presents all kinds of problems for the future, and after you do that, what do you even have to explore deep space for, anyways? Youve pretty much trumped the greatest mystery right there. And on top of that, why did Spock have to bring back Khan alive in the first place? Didnt they have 72 other aliens whos DNA had the exact same properties laying right there? Im sorry. Like I said, I love the movie overall.
