A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict westbound traffic on KY 54/East Parrish Avenue at the Interchange with U.S. 60/Wendell Ford Expressway in Owensboro starting Today. This westbound lane restriction on KY 54 is between the US 60 Westbound on ramp and the US 60 Westbound off ramp at KY 54 mile point 2.5. This lane restriction is to allow the contractor to construct connections for the new US 60 Exit ramp at this site. Motorists can expect to encounter this westbound lane restriction on KY 54 from time to time during daylight hours over about the next two weeks. The project includes new ramps to and from U.S. 60 westbound with a new signalized intersection on KY 54/East Parrish Avenue at the entrance to the new Heartland Crossing/Menards Development. The traffic signal will be activated after the new ramp is ready to go into service... Yager Materials is the prime contractor on the $2.55 million project.
