A contractor just called me about coming to my home to give me an estimate. This appointment setter asked me if there was a spouse or another homeowner here. I said My Husband. She wanted to know his name So that they could keep everyone in the loop. ERM WHAT? She then explained that they like to inform and speak to everyone in the home at one time. I said Ill take care of keeping the appropriate people involved So she re-explained why she needed my husbands name... I advised her that I wasnt comfortable with that question. As a woman I am offended that you want to speak to my husband. If you require this then Im going to go with another vendor. Do not come to my home. Then this obviously enlightened girl said : Well Im single, so Im not offended by that question at all Thats when I used the end call button on my phone.
