A cool start to the morning as valley floor temperatures in Reno are 52 degrees. By sun rise temperatures are expected to have reached 50 degrees under clear skies however the smoke remains. We will have a relatively cool day today as valley floor temperatures will not exceed 90 degrees. Our skies will remain clear except for some high clouds off to our west traveling northward. By this afternoon, we have a possibility for some clearer visibility through the valley, as winds will increase to 20 to 25 mph and continue into the evening hours. This morning we can expect a strong inversion with no winds through the noon hour.
