A cord of three strands is not easily broken My #prayer for us - TopicsExpress

A cord of three strands is not easily broken My #prayer for us today…”Father God, whether it’s in marriage, family, friendship, business or ministry… you did not create us to stand alone. You’ve taught us that two people are better than one because they can help each other succeed. If one fails, the other can reach out and help. But someone is who is alone and fails has no help. It is scary and unnerving. Two people lying together in a cold, desolate place can bring warmth to each other, but one lying alone cannot stay warm in the cold. That can even bring illness. We were not meant to stand by ourselves. One warrior, standing alone, can be attacked and defeated, even killed. Yet two, back-to-back, can conquer. We were not meant to go the road alone. Today, my God, as I pray this prayer for my friend reading this and myself, I claim a partner for them in their journey. I claim they have or will locate that friend, relationship, spouse and/or teammate that stands by them no matter what. I claim the success for them that comes when two stand together, the answer to prayer that occurs when two agree, the warmth of peace that takes place when someone has another to process things with and the victory that happens when two take on a task together. And, for maximum peace, health and prosperity, I claim that you will be in the midst of them, that they will ask you to be the third cord, the one that strengthens a rope to a place where it is nearly impossible to break. Three cords are even better than two, my God, for a cord of three strands is not easily broken. And when you are one of those cords, the power of the cord is indescribable. I praise you today, for those in my life that are the other strand. I praise you for the fact that they welcome you as the third strand and I praise you for those who want to come together with us, and be stronger. And I praise you for my friend, who makes my cord even stronger today, with their support and love, encouragement and wisdom. Amen.” (Ecclesiastes 4:7-12)
