A country deprived of vibrant, inclusive and progressive cultural institutions exists in a vacuum. With no sense of ontology, a degree of insight into where we are coming from and the nature of our being as a result, there can be no teleology: no development towards a collective, mutual end, whatever the latter may consist of in the long-term, is possible. We love seeing cultural institutions getting the recognition they deserve as building blocks of strong societies!
