A couple comments this morning. Why is anyone allowed to profit from the horses being captured. Its a theme, JB catches, he sells and profits, person buying, if it is a meat buyer who sells to slaughter he then profits, slaughter house sells to Japan in a can, or wherever, they profit, everyone profits. If it goes to an individual with a rescue who works with the horses then sells it he also profits. How is any of this OK with the people of Alberta. They are the property of Alberta. Leases.allotments, crown land, the holder of the lease etc. gets the oil and gas rights (WHY) why can they also rent out land to campers, all for profit. The only ones that do not profit are the animals (horses) and the concerned people of Alberta who want this changed.If each of us on this group talk to 10 people and request they sign and send in the letters to ESRD and logging companies we can make our opinion known to our government. They need to change the laws, have some accountability by the lease/allotment holders and perhaps have the oil and gas money going to making our Crown Land more accessible to the people of Alberta to use and enjoy.
