A couple gems from the phone conversation I had with my mom last night: Now that shes a grandmother, shes insisting that her annual check-ups be called mee-maw-grams. She yelled this a few times, in hysterics, as I walked down Clark Street, crying with laughter. Talking about her seven pregnancies: Let me just say, I would have died on the prairie. ME: Mom, dont say that! What? I would have died on the prairie. And then she talked about her almost week old grandson, my lil nephew and how adorable he is, how great his parents are, and how great all of her other kids are (including me, always my favorite part). Just really grateful that shes over 4 and a half years in remission, grateful for our new addition (and for how awesome David and Kate are, parents-wise), and grateful for Tulls/Stopas/Hollands/etc. everywhere. Before saying goodbye, she also said Tweet that thing I said about mee-maw-grams.
