A couple great goal setting exercises to ask today and answer before you start the new year... 1.What went well this year? 2. What didn’t go so well this year? 3. What am I working toward? Another set of questions I ask myself: 1. What do I need to STOP doing? 2. What do I need to CONTINUE doing? 3. What do I need to START doing? Also... Set 12 month OUTCOME goals and 90 day ACTION goals. Step 1. Where do you want to be 12 months from today? This can be an outcome goal. Lets say you want to gain 20lbs of muscle. However, you cant control this. Step 2. Then set 90 day action goals... Write out 3 action steps that you must do every day to achieve your outcome goal. This may be a) Go to bed at 9:30pm b) Prepare my meals from 6-7am each day and c) Train from 4-5:30pm each day. Boom Ultimately, what matters is the ACTIONS you take each day. Actions = Habits. Habits = Transformation. Focus on executing your daily actions, the things you can control, and that will move you closer to the dream of achieving your outcome goals. Make it happen! Vince DelMonte
