A couple months ago I finished reading the biography of Jim Henson. While the book indicated that he seldom wanted to engage his politics into his work, this musical number from The Muppet Show is one of my all time favorites from that series. While not literally proclaiming a message, I find this a rare and beautiful video because he clearly found a way to both imply a serious environmental message and add a comical twist to it! As a matter of a fact, I believe it could also represent todays society out in the world. If you have a few minutes, I highly recommend watching this video.
