A couple of a different kind of cat picture. Their behavior and social wiring are not much different from the domestic felines that populate Facebook, but never, ever, antagonize these kitties. Here photographed in 2012 in the Serengeti by Michael Nichols, who immersed himself in the bush for months. He used camouflaged robots to get close shots of their bonding. Perhaps it is inevitable that the observer can never truly observe because the observation affects the subject(s), if you will pardon the quantum physics creeping in here. But these are very handsome observations.
