A couple of days ago I was in my multi hobby room and heard a very loud noise in the living room. Karen was there when it happened. I came to see what fell off the wall and here this was. She said a bird hit the window. Well, thats not big news. It happens all the time but this was different! I went out to see a dead bird I thought but here sat a Eurasian Collard Dove looking very dazed on our front porch. I waited a half hour to give it time to fly away or for the cat to have a super big dinner. It did fly away, sort of, but very unstable. I measured the wing span on the window. It was a full 20 inches. Looking close we could even see the head and one of its eye where it hit. By the way, the window is 4X5 feet to give you an idea of its size. I pulled the curtain down to reduce the glare of the sun. Has anyone ever experienced one like this. I was told that if you live long enough you will see most everything. Ha! I really needed to know this!!
