A couple of things: It was good to be involved in the RV weekend in VSOs Kingston offices earlier this month, and Id recommend that to all volunteers. The weekend was informative, supportive and very enjoyable; it really helps with the resettlement process. A wee update on my earlier post: Ive heard today that the cash in lieu for my final flight home - in July - is to be paid in the amount originally agreed. Im very grateful to VSO UK for sorting this out, but I would suggest that its less of a hassle to take the option of having your flight home booked by the office when your turn comes.
