A couple of things to take from the election.I wonder if the voter really knows what the person they are voting for believes; or, if the politician has any idea what the voter wants. They just see a (R) or a (D) and pull the lever. For instance, five states voted to raise the minimum wage in their states....yet they also voted in Senators who oppose the minimum wage. Two red states voted down personhood propositions, yet voted in Senators in favor of personhood. Five new Senators are in favor of personhood legislation....Joni Ernst, Cory Gardner, Thom Tillis, Tom Cotton and Steve Daines.....yet it has failed in every Red state, including Mississippi, which brought it up for vote. Alaska voted for medical marijuana....home of you know who. I hate to say it, but in these cases I have to agree with Bill ORielly when he said most of the American electorate is not very smart..... (actually, he said stupid).
