A couple of thoughts on Yeos post game press conference. (only my opinions here and we welcome everyones opinion on this matter) * He comes out smiling and chuckling a bit.... really??? This is not even close to funny. I am irritated and disappointed beyond belief. * He says they were lucky to be up 3-0 but he could tell they were not on top of their game...he addressed it but it did not get fixed. I am sure Craig Leipold will be happy to hear this. He put a ton of money into finding great talent only to hear when the points are VERY important, they cant find their game and his head coach cannot motivate them. * He is disappointed with the PP and the fact that they pass too much and move too slow. He said yes we will have to address this? This is not a new issue....it is a season long issue.....how many times will you need to address this. If he has why has it not got better? When should we expect this team full of talent to be in sync and able to execute? Now onto just my personal opinions. 1. I am so sick of him playing players that deserve to watch from the press box while guys who dont do........Heatley, Brodziak come to mind right away. They deserve to sit out and guys like Fontaine (who I believe is our 3rd leading scorer) is watching from the press box. 2. The issue of this team being consistently inconsistent is nothing new. This has been going on all year. ALL YEAR!!!! This needs to be addresses, players need to be held accountable and this problem needs to go away. 3. Will this be our 3rd season in a row (all under Yeos leadership) that we tank right at the end of the season? Last year we got lucky and squeaked into the playoffs. Now I know this is one game but lets face it....this is and has been a concern for awhile now. I really do believe that we have not yet seen the full potential of this team and I really dont think Yeo is the guy that will ever get them to play at their full potential and I question his leadership abilities. A coach like Hitchcock or Quenneville would never ever put up with this BS from a team. They would hold all these players feet to the fire but more importantly they know how to get the best out of their players. I am done ranting for the night.
