A couple of weeks ago Erin Moriarty posted about EDS life hacks. I finally got to take some pictures of my modifications to my kitchen. I am 5 10 and my neck is fused from c0-c6. FYI the cost of raising(or lowering) cabinets can be a medical tax deduction because theoretically it reduces the value of the house. The cabinets could be returned to standard height by removing the platform beneath them and the furniture feet that I designed to hide what would have been a huge toekick. My counters are 39 and the island is 41 Unloading the dishwasher used to be absolute agony. Every time I load/unload it I am grateful Nearly all lower cabinets are drawers and silver and dishes are adjacent to the dishwasher. The side by side fridge is raised as is the oven and washer & dryer. The cabinet above the dryer has a closet rod for hangers and to the right I have an old fireplace crane that I hang the closes on as they come out of the dryer.
