A couple of weeks ago I had the oil changes in my Jeep. The mechanic said I needed a 100,000 mile tune up, the fluids changes all around and the ball joints in the front end had considerable play in them. As the estimate was over $700.00 with out the ball joints I thought a second opinion was in order. The second shop looked at the Jeep and said I needed a 100,000 mile tune up, the fluids looked brand new and the ball joints were tight and did not need replacing. Second shops estimate was less than $275.00 and the work will be completed this afternoon. Sometimes you just need a second opinion from a shop where you know the owner and your friends say he does great work.
