A couple of weeks ago, I posted a story about my best friend Rhondas father, Joe, being diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. She so wanted him to walk her down the aisle at her wedding in April, but Joe has since gone home to be with God. There were complications with an infection related to the cancer, and it happened very suddenly. I was with Rhonda the evening and following day that it happened (Sunday/Monday). My heart simply breaks for her and her mother, Patty. Unfortunately, Joe did not have a life insurance policy. For those of you who have already selflessly donated to Joes fund, thank you so much. The money will now go toward funeral and emergency medical expenses. My sweet friend could still use some help. Please do whatever you can, if you feel led to. Your generosity will not be squandered or taken for granted. Prayers are priceless and also appreciated.
