A couple of weeks ago I was very fortunate enough to have lunch with the late Steve Jobs’ personal architect when he dropped in to visit a mutual friend. I found out he had designed many of Apples buildings for Jobs directly over the years. I was really interested when shared this story of one of Steve’s final presentations - which was to local City planners seeking approval for major new Apple building expansions (which are already massive I remember from my visits to Cupertino). His presentation was just 4 slides, with black text on white, no graphics and not even a logo - Steve just talked it, he told me. It struck me as the ultimate minimalist approach, and despite having instant access to some of the worlds best creative teams and designers in the world, Jobs needed and wanted was plain text. (Not suggesting you do the same, graphic designers are your friend :)
