A couple of weird coins for you today. The first one is weird - TopicsExpress

A couple of weird coins for you today. The first one is weird because it is an 1864 Farthing and it is in Copper. The Copper coinage changed to Bronze 4 years previously; it also has a die number (1), and strictly speaking it is a Gold/Copper alloy proof. We have graded it About FDC. The Gold streak on the reverse is from the Sovereign die. It is sold with a Royal mint letter which authenticates it. It is one of only 5 known examples. The price is £18500. If you want it we will take instalments. The second coin is weird as it is a Celtic coin. We are pretty ignorant on Celtic coins, and dont pretend otherwise. The one below is a Celtic Dvmno Tigir Seno Gold stater Spinks 414. It grades at GVF and has a slight chip. It is ex Spink and Noble and is sold with an old ticket The price is £1500
