A couple of years ago I was getting ready to travel to Costa Rica to live in the forest with a community for 6 months. Many questions were in my mind as I started making plans... What sort of work would I be doing there? What did I have to offer this community? Would my expectations of this particular community be anything like the up and coming reality? What was I hoping to learn there? Should I buy a tent or hammock to sleep in? Did I have enough funky dance moves to join in the daily dance classes! How could I grow as a person? Which workshops should I participate in, the silent retreat?, the 7 day cleanse? How willing and ready was I to work on myself? Would I waste my opportunity of growth here? I met so many wonderful people during my time there. Most of them are now scattered across the globe as they continue their journey though I have been lucky enough to see many of them again and I hope to see many more of these wonderful souls in the future.... There are so many kind and caring souls in the world, working hard to create a happier and more compassionate world to live in....and no matter what difficulties and challenges they come up against they will not give up. They will always strive towards a more peaceful and happier world for themselves and for everybody else to share..
