A couple of you have asked why I started volunteering for the ALS Association. I was lucky enough to play rugby a couple of times with Jarrod Cunningham. Jarrod was a proud Kiwi rugger of exceptional talent that I first met in Seattle on a trip to Victoria. Much to my surprise, he ended up playing with us at Maryland Exiles several years later. Jarrod went on to much greater feats of rugby professionalism but was taken from us to soon by ALS. So Ive started volunteering to support this organization and the great work and research they do. I hope this keeps a little of Jarrods memory and inspirational attitude burning. Google Jarrods name and read his stories of inspiration. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jarrod_Cunningham
