A couple years ago one of my granddaughters was in the process of giving up her pacifier. Her Mom and Dad tied them to balloons and told her the angels were going to catch them and give them to kids that really needed them. Shortly after that event her great grandfather died. They told Bella that he was now with the angels. Without question Bella asked if he was helping the angels catch the balloons. Innocence, that is how we are to approach the throne of God. Life has made many of us jaded and questioning. God gives us the truth in His word, which has stood unchanged for thousands of years, yet we doubt what we can not see. Jesus says in John 20:29 “Blessed [are] those who have not seen and [yet] have believed.". We are to give up our jaded natures and as Jesus instructs in Luke 18:17 "Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.".
