A court order prohibiting a New Jersey woman from writing about - TopicsExpress

A court order prohibiting a New Jersey woman from writing about her family on Facebook and elsewhere was deemed constitutional last week by an appeals court. The woman was ordered as a condition of her probation to stop posting “clearly disturbing” online writings about her children and ex-husband. An attorney for the state asked that she be banned from posting out of concern that her children would someday read it. Though found constitutional, do you feel this womans First Amendment right to freedom of speech has been violated or restricted? Or do you agree with the judges decision to “protect the children?” And what kind of precedence do you think this decision sets, if any?
