Our deepest congratulations to India’s Kailash Satyarthi for winning the prestigious Nobel Prize for his crusade to protect the rights of millions of disadvantaged children in the country. His victory is truly an inspiration for all those working in the field of child rights, and Bachpan Bachao Andolan has certainly been a role model for several Indian and International NGOs. We are hopeful that more and more organisations and institutions will now strive to bring about the kind of impact and change that BBA has demonstrated in India. Together with Malala of Pakistan, the award has brought just the right attention not only to Children and Womens Rights but also to religion, peace and co-existence in the region.
