A customer asked what the benefits of getting a full custom tune are and we get this question a lot. Just wanted to share the answer and especially focus on point 3 since I am a huge fan of enhancing the tuning experience through education. Hey, there are several benefits to a full custom tune. 1. Tailoring the entire power band to the modifications you have installed and fuel available. This level of fine tuning is not done on the SOTS+. It is fine to stay with the SOTS+ especially if the car is running well but the next level in fine tuning the powerband is done through multiple map iterations and analysis of datalogs. On some cars there is lots left on the table and on some there isnt but we wont know unless we go through the exercise. 2. Any further driveability changes that you want to explore or adjust. 3. What I find a lot of the customers enjoy is the coaching and learning experience. By interacting and asking about datalogs, what the data means, current parts, and future parts it is a learning experience as well and people walk away knowing more about their car and how it is running in general. This is something that can be very rewarding.
