A customer came in today to start up service with us (AT&T) today. After building proper rapport with him I learned that he is involved in the music industry and that he works for Sean Diddy Combs. He is in charge of scheduling the artists for vocal trainers and other various tasks. He informed me that he travels a lot and was recently at game 6 of the Blazers vs Houston series. I was jealous of this and informed him of that. He then proceeded to increase my jealousy by telling me he had tickets to game 3 of the Blazers vs Spurs series but he is not going to be able to make it because he is headed back to his home in California today and doesnt think he will make it back to Portland in time for the game. I jokingly told him I would take the tickets... He then asked me for my email address so that he can send me the tickets so they dont go to waste. I was ecstatic!! After refreshing my email dozens of times I am starting to realize this was too good to be true... I guess I shouldve gotten that hint when he was worried about the price of phones. Moral of this story is: If youre Diddys assistant Im almost certain you dont need to spend your time worrying about the price of your cell phone, nor (in my case) who you are going to give your game 3 Blazer vs Spurs tickets.... Lesson learned... Poop!
