A dangerous situation for Southern Baja California, as Hurricane Odile, currently a strong Category 3 with maximum sustained winds up to 125 mph as of 2PM PDT 9/14, will pass near or over the extreme southern tip of the peninsula. which includes the popular resort town of Cabo San Lucas. Odile could strengthen back to Category 4 as it approaches Southern Baja California Sur tonight. This is one of the strongest hurricanes ever to impact that area.
