A dashboard mounted camera filmed this piece of driving yesterday afternoon - about 3.30pm (ignore the time and date in the top right-hand corner) at Doyle Road, St Peter Port. The silver Ford Fiesta is driving against a dual-lane one-way system! This is a serious lapse in concentration at least, and an appalling example of poor driving at worst, and could very easily have resulted in a terrible accident, We are advised that a car travelling behind the filming vehicle, was about to change traffic lanes - the consequences are unthinkable. Unfortunately, due to the quality of the filming, we are unable to identify the offending vehicle. We can only urge motorists to pay attention when driving - if we could identify the offending driver they would be summonsed to court and would very likely have their licence suspended or revoked. Please drive carefully and courteously.
