A day in memorium. A day of melancholy. The anniversary of yet another day that will live in infamy. A day that darkness covered our world. We were supposed to choose a new path. A day the tears that begun were supposed to lead to a stream of new beginnings. Deep down the unbidden horror that disrupted the flow of our lives remains unchanged and unrelenting. We have yet to learn. There will always be one more. More tears, more horror, more pain. The lash against our bodies remains unchecked. I pray for relief. I pray we find our way. I pray for peace.
