A day late but oh well... Here is what we are doing this week in art! PK - Clay pinch pots! (No photo) K - Santa Portraits! (And yes I know its not even Thanksgiving! I dont care!) 1st - Fruit Baskets with the primary and secondary colors! (This is the finished product. We only painted/mixed the colors today.) 2nd - Shaded Snowmen! We worked on adding a shadow to each piece of the snowman and on the ground! 3rd - Cubism Self-portraits! (This is the finished product, we only got the pencil face done today.) 4th - Scratchboards! Additive and subtractive processes. (Again, this is the finished product.) 5th - Variety Turkeys! We are going through the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. This is about line and variety. (And a little zombie thrown in for good measure! But they get to do the turkey anyway they want!)
