A day of Bah! Humbug!! shopping in Newton today - something I obviously was not looking forward to this year even less than usual. (Could well do without it emotionally & time-wise to be honest but hey-ho!) My partner-in- crime . . . .me mum, of course!!! & I done the necessary with loadsa in-jokes, quips & giggles and eventually relocated to our favourite carvery-serving inn for a well deserved tasty meal and coupla pints of English Pale Ale - me that is, mother was driving! :-)
