A day or two ago I was sitting on the couch with Holly Fetter and I forget the contest maybe she can remind me , but she said that she liked my sense of style.... I had just gotten a new piercing in each ear the week before and try to take care in my overall look and clothes and shoes and hair, and for her to affirm me and compliment/acknowledge it coming from her made me feel so good about myself, so validated, so encouraged and loved. Weve been married 7 years and to hear that she still appreciates one of the things that drew us together and knows I am trying to look good for her, when I feel that Im not good enough for her sometimes since she is so smart and beautiful and selfless, so I guess the point is think about telling your partner what you appreciate or admire about then that is unique to them ... You just might make them feel so special and lucky, and make their day / week / month ...
