A dear friend of the Filipino community has finally bowed down from the rigors of state politics. Barbara Perry MP has served well the interest of her Auburn constituents amd has never failed to join us in our annual Penafrancia Fiesta in Silverwater Park since 2006. Her presence in our festivities each year will surely be missed. Barbara Perry has this to say today. I always knew the incredible honour I have had to represent this community would come to an end one day, she said. Ive long hoped that the man standing next to me would be my successor, Luke Foley. All the best my friend Barbara Perry. You have been true to your faith and in standing up for the battlers of Western Sydney. Irrespective of the reason of your sudden departure, the Filipino community wishes you all the best.
