A delegation of South Aftrican Business men and women is in the country to explore tourism and mining opportunities in Luapuala Province. As part of the tour the delegation, which includes officials from the Department of Trade and the South African Embassy, visited the Zambia Development Agency to learn more about the Agencys role in investment facilitation and the incentive package for investors. They were met on arrival by the Director of Investement, Mrs Florence Mumba and other investment offficials. A presentation thereafter was made by the Investment Promotions Mrs Manager Jessica Chombo, to showcase Zambia as the investment destination of choice and the services that the Agency offers to investors. The meeting ended with a question and answer sesison on opportunities for mining and infrastructure in the province, while much interest was shown in the planned Mutlu-Facility Export Zone, which is expected to be established in the province. The delegation also visited other agencies of interest but has since left for Mansa to sample the opportunitis there. zda.org.zm
