A delightful, entertaining and only occasionally deeply depressing morning watching conspiracy theory videos. So much stupidity, deliberate misinformation, and just plain mischief. I am aghast at the way they: - present opinion as bald statement of fact, e.g. Hilary Clinton is a pathological liar like her husband; - weave vast webs of conspiracy, for example: the origins of the shooting down of MH17 can be traced back to 22 November 1963 (the day Kennedy was assassinated) which itself had its origins in the end of the Second World War (Oh! and apparently World War 2 was actually a Zionist conspiracy to ensure the establishment of a Jewish homeland! It does seem a remarkably circuitous and frequently counter-productive way to have gone about it); - mistranslate passages of foreign languages to prove that, for example, Satan is openly and publicly worshipped at the Vatican; - and are very specific when it suits them, but can also be as vague as (this is my personal favourite of the morning): Scary proof something is about to happen. Time for cake, I think.
