A dilemma: I asked a guy to help me clean my yard today. I always offer tea or coffee to who ever comes here to visit, helps me with something, comes to service or repair something. This is something I learned at home and will always keep doing. Being kind and polite to people always brings you good vibes. Ok, I know this guy does not speak English, just a few words. Mr. X would you like tea or coffee. Tea or coffee are words I absolutely know they are familiar with. No problem. I know this is a polite way of half refusing, half accepting, they do not like to say yes pleaseor no thanks. So I try again: Tea or coffee? No problem! But please say to me, what you LIKE Tea or Coffee. Like is also a word most of the time people know. I make gestures, to point out I want to let him make a choice. I no English. Yes I know sweetheart but please say TEA or COFFEE. No problem! I give up. I make both with a cup of coffee for my self. He loves Tess. Tess is limping for a few days. I try to explain if he cleans the terrace with water, that he has to be careful with Tess, she will fall on the slippery surface. No water, dangerous for Tess! He smiles and says : YES, I LIKE DANCE, DANCE!!!!.............OK I understand, Tess has to go inside!
