Media Advisory Attention: News, Assignment & Photo Editors For Immediate Release December 4, 2014 Toys for Tickets photo opportunity OSHAWA – Members of the media are invited to a photo opportunity displaying the donated toys collected during the City of Oshawa’s Toys for Tickets program. Motorists who receive a parking ticket between November 29 and December 12 have the opportunity to pay the fine amount by donating a new children’s toy. Service Oshawa will accept and collect the donated toys on December 11 and 12 and then on Monday, December 15, Durham Regional Police Service will pick up the toys for distribution to children and youth in need as part of their annual holiday Food and Toy Drive. This is the eighth year that the City of Oshawa has offered the Toys for Tickets program.
