A donation of £2050 was made to the billboard cause in early - TopicsExpress

A donation of £2050 was made to the billboard cause in early October, the contributer did not ask for a refund but instead opened a dispute in Paypal post 2 months of making the donation and has requested a full refund. This has resulted in Paypal freezing the Caged NW account due to protocol. We believe the billboard campaign has been sabotaged, but despite this attempt the billboard will still go ahead and will be present in Manchester on Monday 1st December 2014. We will provide photographs and video footage on the Caged North West website. It was necessary to close the previous Gofundme accounts due to the Paypal account being frozen, as we were unable to access donations, but despite this the newspaper advert will still go ahead but there will be a slight delay as we did not meet the deadline. A new Gofundme fundraiser will be opened today to gather the remainder needed for the Daily Mirror advert. Dates of the Daily Mirror advert as well as all our other intended campaigns will be available for viewing on the website once we achieve our goal, hopefully within the next 10 days. After discussion with Gofundme, we have now opened a new Gofundme account to compensate for the £2050 claim for a refund within the billboard campaign. If we win the dispute, all money will be used towards another bus campaign in the spring. Meanwhile we continue with our campaigns as usual and refuse to allow our campaigns to be effected by any attempts of sabotage, any further attempts will be reported to relevant authorities.
