A dose of goodness is always atmosphere changing. There are heroes who walk among us and I will be telling their stories here. One common quality, though, is they dont want recognition, so I will be putting them up without mentioning their names. God knows who they are, as do the people whose lives they touch. Keep reading for the first one. This woman is a single mom who goes to school and works at a Texas nursing home. She took on a job no one else wanted- bathing the residents. She treats each one gently, lovingly, as if it is her own grandparents she is ministering to. Not only that, she wasnt satisfied with the generic quality of the supplies provided at work. So with her own carefully budgeted money, she buys special soaps and lotions that not only are soothing to their skin, but that also smell good; pleasant; un-nursing home-like. She helps them to remember they are still valuable, despite their failing bodies or minds. Shes a game changer by how she treats vulnerable, weakened people with compassion and restores their dignity. She is Gods hand extended on this earth.
