A dreadful shopping experience today. Some thinks he knows it all at Maplins was trying to tell me that a digital/analogue signal converter I was after doesnt exist (even though theres a million on sale on ebay, and I even owned a couple that I left in New Zealand). Then off to Richer Sounds, after checking online that the store had the speakers I wanted in stock, only to be told after going through the hideous traffic, that they didnt have them. On the positive side, I found the component Maplins said didnt exist in a box in the garage, and Ill buy better, more expensive speakers - just wont be getting them from Richer Sounds. All good. :)
