A dynamic company in the telecommunications sector requires a CUSTOMER SERVICE/HELP DESK SUPPORT OFFICER #KGN The required candidate should be a young person with a passion for customer service, computer savvy with strong analytical skills. The successful applicant should also have high professional standards, a mature work attitude and must be able to operate remotely while achieving performance expectations. CORE FUNCTION: Primary responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Receive calls to the Merchant Support Help Desk within the established working hours. Log all calls received and action appropriately. Complete call log using the designated help desk software and submit reports as required. Resolve merchants’ issues and queries within the timeframe specified by the company; provide appropriate feedback to the customer. Follow up on customer issues not immediately resolved; dispatch to relevant support staff and follow through to ensure resolution to the customer’s satisfaction. Escalate all issues outstanding for more than one (1) day to department manager. Place outbound calls as instructed by department manager. Maintain the positive image of the company by exercising best practices in handling inbound and outbound customer related issues. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associate Degree or Dip. in Mgmt. Studies/Business Admin. or equivalent 4 CXC’s/GCE O’ Levels including mathematics and English Language A minimum of 2 years working customer service experience is a must REQUIRED SKILLS AND SPECIALIZED TECHNIQUES Excellent problem solving, computation and analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Computer proficiency, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office applications (excel and word) WORKING HOURS Work from office (Office Duties): Fridays: 10:00am – 1:00pm Work from home (On-call Support): Monday to Friday, 5:00pm –8:30am; Saturdays & Sundays, 24 hours (every other weekend) Follow link to apply caribbeanjobs/Merchant-Support-Officer-Job-44647.aspx
