A famous Christian singer once sang a song whose lyrics goes thus: ‘He walked where I walk; He stood where I stand; He felt what I feel; He understands…’. The lyrics of this song really capture my message of today. In the midst of about 6.7 billion people on earth, no strand of your hair falls to the ground without His notice. God knows and feels everything. There was a man who had unquenchable interest and passion for exotic fish. This man kept a large fifty-gallon aquarium in his apartment and enjoyed watching the myriad rainbow of fins flashing within a miniature ocean. His job required that he travelled for days, so he decided to equip the aquarium with a state-of-the-art mechanism, which would automatically clean the tank, release food and keep the water temperature constant. As usual, He travelled one day and returned only to discover that he had not adjusted the thermostat on the aquarium. The water became over-heated and killed his beloved collections of fish. In his grief over this loss, the man imagined what the fish must have gone through with the abnormal temperature. Now, if a mortal can feel this much for his collections of fish, don’t you think God cares much more about your present load of pain? God knows and sees the tears you shed, He knows the fear you nurse. He knows the secret battle you are fighting. You might ask: if He knows, why has He not done anything about it? The truth is; He is not just watching you, He has a counter plan of escape for you in due season! Abraham initially felt God had abandoned him in his state of childlessness. Little did he realize that God had a different plan. The Israelites thought God had abandoned them in Egypt. But at the appointed time He made known and executed His plans through Moses. Even when the clouds seems to hide His face from you, always remember that He sees you. Enjoy your day! Turning Point Today!
