A famous sports announcer was fired many years ago for stating a fact. What he said was true; but offensive to some. He lived in a country that had and still has a constitution allowing free speech. Recently, the Food Network dropped a contract with a very popular lady because she made some remarks considered racial and were offensive to some that decided to suit her. I saw posted on Facebook a few days ago, "The USA, love it or leave it". It seems to me the USA has left us by allowing idiotic leaders to permit such foolishness. We have a constitution that allows for freedom of speech but when the freedom is exercised we are in a position to either lose our jobs or/and be sued. If we decide to fight the allegations, the cost of attorneys and legal fees are phenomenal. Oprah Winphrey had the guts to fight the beef industry because of a fair and honest statement she made several years ago. She won the suit but she lost the funds paid for the legal battle. Wal-Mart, (from what I have been told) has several lawsuits world wide, daily. Most are settled out of court because it is less expensive than battling. We Americans have voted our freedoms away by putting ungodly rulers in position of authority. The sports announcer lost his job several years ago for making a statement that was definitely true. It offended some. Our system use to be the best in the world; may still be. We need to go back to basics; the U.S. Constitution 2nd; The Holy Bible first. When the voters are willing to let politicians in office that have no fear of God, things will always continue to get worse. Israel wondered in the wilderness for 40 years because they blamed God for their struggles. The truth is, their lack of faith in God is what brought their struggles to them. When man/humans try to fix problems on their own, failure is almost a guarantee. When we trust God by leaving our problems at the alter and letting Jesus intercede for us; all things are not only possible, but are guaranteed to be for our best.
