A fantastic performance from Andy Dyson saw him take the latest Bank holiday open match held on Big Beam. As well as winning the match Andy broke the fishery match record with an outstanding 94lb 2oz of quality carp from peg 13. Andy caught 35 carp to 8lbs from the far bank, ignoring attention from the resident ducks fishing and feeding meat hard on the pole at about 16 metres. Some way behind in second place fishing peg 27 was Anthony Sheridan with 28lb 14oz. Anthony caught quality carp as well as a mixture of smaller fish close in and down the track using pellet and the meat. In third place was Ciaran McAndrew fishing from peg 21 weighing in with 27lb 9oz of carp and skimmers. Our next match will be held on Far Hope this coming Thursday, see you there !!
